Timothy Elstone is a Store Manager for Cotswold in Guildford. He worked his way up from a part-time position, after returning from Indonesia 5 years ago. Managing a team in Guildford, he combines his commercial knowledge with his communication skills to maximum opportunities in productivity, conversion and customer satisfaction.

Timothy also supports 18 other stores in the South East Area in his capacity as ‘Systems Expert’. He receives both operational and procedural quires from other store managers, which cover an array of platforms including Office 365, Jira, SP Expert, and ADP. Being this focual point in the area, Timothy supports by arranging weekly conference calls, runs the Managers Calendar and updates the areas Share Point pages to keep everyone informed. Recently, Timothy has been working on compliance to ensure that the systems which process customer orders and data are being cycled correctly. This involves regular telephone meetings with other stores to help support procedures and best practices.

World Travel

Timothy is a seasoned traveler. He enjoys the logistics and arrangements of world travel. Most recently he and his wife had a trip of a life time to Iceland, where they drove over 3000k by truck to discover some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world; the ice filled Northern Fjords in mid winter.
From Prague to Paris, Kuala Lumpur to Medan, or Dubai to Venice; Timothy is comfortable with different cultures, and negotiating logistics wherever he may be.

History
Starting with a strong retail background in Waitrose, Timothy became a supervisor whilst still at College in Chichester. He pursued his passion in ICT all the way through to Portsmouth University, where his interest in people combined, to allow him to study how ‘adopting technologies affected third world countries’. Through college and University Timothy was with Waitrose for 6 years.
